More Creationist nonsense

This is from the same Creationism web site. I realise they do not reflect the Creationist non-theory and these are most certainly not the views of most Christians.

You could not make this up!

<<< Masturbation can sometimes be wrong and it can sometimes not. If you masturbate thinking about how pretty the flowers are and how you want a puppy, essentially that's not wrong. But most times, that is not the case. I believe that when one masturbates a high percentage of the time they are fantasizing about a sexual partner therefore making masturbation lust. Lust, as the Bible states, is a sin. But masturbation is something that people in general should stay away from because it's hard not to lust whilst doing it. >>>

<<< [on why God had to have written the Bible]

But think about it, who is smart enough to write the Holy Bible? The answer, no one.

[...]

How could people back then have written words with such intellegence? We were not very educated back then, we all know. So tell me, how could people back ages ago could have written the bible? >>>

Creationism vs Evolution

This is from a Christian website showing their hilarious arguments for Creationism:

>>>Everyone knows scientists insist on using complex terminology to make it harder for True Christians to refute their claims.

Deoxyribonucleic Acid, for example… sounds impressive, right? But have you ever seen what happens if you put something in acid? It dissolves! If we had all this acid in our cells, we’d all dissolve! So much for the Theory of Evolution, Check MATE!<<<

UK series I like

In repsonse to an email from someone who seems to suggest that I only like US TV [on that subject I heard today that ITV have bought the rights to Dexter, you lucky people] so I will list some, in my opinion, great UK TV. I’ll try and do a tiny summary, most recent first:

Life On Mars
Swiss Toni
Coupling [first three series are spectacularly funny]
Grass
Spaced
Teachers [well, first three series anyway]
Spooks [first two series]
Father Ted
… and a big gap ‘cos I am getting fed up…
Minder [before it got crap with his nephew]
Rising Damp
Likely Lads [and Whatever happened to…]

And there are hundreds more. I can understand your point but I’m trying to point the US stuff out, which you may well miss tucked away on FX or whatever.

I’d also suggest you watch the US version of Ramsey’s Kitchen Nightmares.

Pushing Daisies

Over the last couple of months I have been viewing a TV series called “Pushing Daisies”, currently showing in the US. I have just heard that ITV have bought the rights and are planning to show it on Friday nights in a prime time slot on ITV1.

Drop whatever you have on the go when this is on TV and if you don’t have the biggest warm fuzzy feeling at the end of each episode then you’re not human.

Windscreen wiper update

For those of you that were bemoaning the lack of updates I bring you this super-exciting update…

The wipers had their first proper road test and came through with flying colours. I honestly recommend them to anyone. There are plenty of models covered and eBay have a lot for sale, that’s where I got mine.

Writing posts about windscreen wipers… well, I hope you are all happy now. lolzors. imo tbh

Windscreen wipers

After suffering for weeks now with ’smear my windscreen with shite and miss the other half of the windscreen when it’s tipping down’ I purchased a set of Bosch Aerotwin wipers - not just the blades but the whole kaboodle.

The fitting instructions are a joke, two pictures that look like they were drawn by a three year old on the side of the box, one says ‘removal’ the other says ‘fitting’.

Having read horror stories of people breaking them when trying to fit them and others taking a whole day I took the plunge today. 15 minutes later they were working and are the absolute nuts. They look excellent [no frame] and my limited testing went superbly too.

Creepy Quiz Show Contestant

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present the fantastically named Albert Hall, the scariest and creepiest quiz show contestant ever:

Flash Element Tower Defence 2

After a long beta testing phase this was released on Sunday night. Try if you think you’re hard enough…. Map 1 is relatively easy to complete once you get the hang of how the game works, the challenge then is to get as high a score as possible.

Map 2 is downright hard, I can only get to the last level but then die :-(

Map 3 you’ll have to join [only 20 dollars for a year to the rabble]but is just pure EVIL.

So, click here for your fix, either click on GAMES in the menu of click directly on the game on the left hand side

I’m off to have another go on map 1.
